CNC machining is a manufacturing process in which pre-programmed computer software dictates the movement of factory tools and machinery.
The Machine – Owsley Industries has a Laguna Smartshop II CNC Router with a working area of 48”x96”. It has an ATC (automatic tool changer) with a vacuum bed to hold down the work piece. With this machine we are able to produce parts fast, efficient and precisely to meet our clients demands.
Materials – We can cut all types of wood and wood based products such as plywood, mdf, chipboard, OSB, Valchromat and many others. We can also cut acrylic, high pressure laminates, and HDPE (High-density polyethylene).
